* * * * Program for this week of June 10th * * *

#1 – Last Week: COLOR POEMS

You can write a color poem as though the color is talking

Or write as though you’re talking to the color

#2 – This week: THE JOURNEY POEM

We’ll do some riddles

Some gibberish

Play the Yes/No game

Read our color poems

-  - - - - - - - - - - .

New poem idea - The Journey, which is a way of telling a story.

Here’s an example:

Snake’s Journey

Snake went on a journey.

Snake came to a wall

Snake climbed the wall

On the other side of the wall was a pool

Snake swam across the pool

And came to a river

Snake swam across the river

And came to a cave

Snake went into the cave and slept

While he slept

Snake dreamt he was a bird

The bird went to on the journey

The bird flew into a cloud

In the cloud was a forest

The bird flew into the forest

In the forest was a fire

The bird flew into the fire

The fire burnt him up

Leaving the bones

The bones said ” We are Snake”

The bones joined together

And Snake came out of the ashes.

Snake looked around.

He saw he was in a cave

He came out of the cave

He swam across the river

He swam across the pool

He climbed over the wall

And went home.

See you all Wednesday!

Love, Emmanuel
